These fashionable hand-loomed items made from fine South African mohair will keep one toasty warm on the coldest of days. Our exclusive designs are brought to life by Rwanda Knits, a non-government organization (NGO) started by FACED, a US-based non-profit that has donated hundreds of hand-operated knitting machines. Rwanda Knits employs both members of AVEGA, a support organization for widows of genocide as well as women living in UN-run refugee camps throughout the country.

The Peace Poncho shown here is made from 78% kid mohair, 13% wool and 9% nylon. Regular and Large.

The deep coral color is accented with chocolate brown to give a rich look.
